All-solid-state batteries," for which research and development aimed at practical application is accelerating, involve processes such as ball milling, heat treatment, gas analysis, particle size distribution, particle shape, specific surface area, pore distribution, true density, and surface characteristics. They are attracting significant attention as secondary batteries with CO2 reduction, high safety, and large capacity and high output. Since all the battery constituent materials are solid, methods for sample preparation that enhance the compactness of the materials themselves and between the materials, as well as evaluation methods, are becoming increasingly important.
